We are a non-profit cultural organization based in Lisbon. Our goal is to offer an environment for artistic growth where cultural events take place, contributing to Lisbon’s development in a creative, open and multi-cultural way.

Dear community, our creative pause is gradually giving way to new rhythms. We're slowly returning with events that align with what Arroz is becoming. We're still restructuring, but we felt it was time to come together again.
The break was long, yes. But it was worth it. We needed time to realign our path, to listen to our community and reorganize what makes sense for Arroz.
Looking ahead, our vision remains strong. We’re establishing deeper roots in Lisbon, strengthening our role as an international cultural space, and taking part in policy development projects through the Reset Network of independent culture venues across the EU. Culture is facing significant economic and political challenges, and as an independent space, we’re on the front line of these shifts. But moments like this remind us why community spaces like Arroz are more important than ever. This pause was an opportunity to reconnect, regroup, and come back even stronger.
