DJ duo and co-founders of TRAFKA. in Arroz Estúdios. The palpable enthusiasm for music is a pleasure to witness, both coming from psychedelic rock backgrounds, the duo describe their DJ style as Post Punk / EBM / Industrial * techno having strong ties with German music but also never forgetting those who enjoy dancing to the beats of the years 70/80’s. NIALL HEARNE
Artist, video and photographer but also poet Niall is one of the Garden Collective member @nillynoon
FLOΔT
Franco-British freelance Graphic Designer & Illustrator based between Montréal and Paris. She has worked in the music industry and in cultural institutions for more than a decade. Street art is her thing and she already did few murals in Arroz space. floatingstudio.net + @float_art
KARL GODARD
Originally from Paris, Karl is a Lisbon/London based composer/computer scientist with interests in electronic music, A. I. and Blockchain technologies. He started his music career with the Parisian rock band Tanger, collaborated with the Master Musicians of Jajouka, Choreographer Meg Stuart and festival line ups with the likes of David Bowie, Jeff Mills, Massive Attack and the Wu Tang. He is currently working on a PhD in A.I. , producing music for film/video and working with Arroz and Near Protocol. Bandcamp
MEAGAN BACH
Meagan Bach – founder of Milk Bottle Design – is a graphic designer, creative branding specialist and illustrator. Meagan joined the studio at the start of this year to re-discover illustration and explore different techniques. milkbottledesign.com + @meaggiejean
RAMEN YUNG
Francesco Paolo Giunta aka Ramen Yung is a painter, illustrator and visual artist from Sicily, Italy. Studying fine art at Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome, Francesco has been creating installations and canvases for over 10 years in London, Florence and now Lisboa. Often using painted masking tape as a medium, Francesco’s work is a critical approach to conventional art processes using an intricate layering technique to convey his surrounding environment with a heavy emphasis on the artistic process.
ELÁDIO CARDOSO
He is a Portuguese / English interpreter / translator but also a poet and creative writer part of Poetas à Solta and Arroz Estúdios since the beginning.
DAVID ARRANHADO
From being part of our studio project to travelling the world taking mural commissions and international artistic residencies, from Turkey to Mexico, Brazil to Miami David has been painting his way across the globe.. He was originally educated in the military school in Lisboa before finding a love for painting in his twenties. A vida é andar. @arranhadodavid
